Classroom Training
Sterling Systems courses are conducted by an Autodesk Certified Instructor. Classroom training is held in a "state-of-the-art" training center. Each attendee is provided a computer for use for the duration of the course; guaranteeing a full "hands-on" learning experience. Classes are limited to 8 attendees to ensure a personal learning relationship between each student and the course instructor. Check our calendar for course availibility. Course content is based on certified course materials.
On-Site Classroom Training
With Sterling Systems On-Site Training, one of our certified instructors can come directly to your office and perform the same training classes offered in our training centers. The customer has complete control over the number of students in the class. The customers may provide computers to be used for a classroom setting, or Sterling Systems can provide an entire mobile training center for an additional fee.
Customized On-Site Classroom Training
Sterling Systems Custom On-Site Training program allows customers to have a certified trainer come to your location and provide customized training designed to fit your specific needs.
Customized On-Site Mentoring
With Sterling Systems Mentoring program, one of our certified trainers can come to your location to provide specialized one-on-one training and assistance specifically on the users project data. Sterling System's Mentoring program benefits the student by providing the full attention of the instructor and the ability to learn "Best Practices" and procedures with the added benefit of being productive while they learn. Mentoring is offered at an hourly fee and is usually done on a continuous/reoccurring basis, (i.e., every Tuesday). Mentoring is one of our most popular forms of custom training because productivity increases while learning takes place. Often our customers will pass the cost of Mentoring on to their clients, as the service is project based and relevant. Mentoring services may also include workflow analysis, establishment of standards and procedure documentation.
Extended Demo/Training
If formal “hands-on” training is not what you are seeking, perhaps an extended demonstration/training session is a better fit. In this case, the trainer uses a separate computer to explain the functionality and procedures while performing the exercises. This allows a large amount of training to be covered in a short time frame. Extended Demo/Training works well when you have a large number of students and a limited training budget.
